Wall Painting/Street Art

Before Super Bowl Sunday, Ohio University art students worked to display their pride for athlete Joe Burrow, who was born in Athens. These concrete structures can be found on west green before the beginning of a bridge of road. Intricate detail and what I assume had been hours and hours of work contrasts the bland street with its brightly colored accents. Each panel has a unique style to it, appealing to any viewers artistic preferences.

The first well known example of wall art was discovered to have been produced in Ancient Aegean times. Spring Fresco is a landscape painting that shows many brightly colored plant species. This painting is protected and has been refurbished by conservationists in the art community.
